Dubai’s Top 10 Craziest Construction Projects
These projects are undergoing completion. After reviewing the list, I’m wondering why not call it “The World’s Top 10 Most Outrageous Construction Projects”. Dubai would probably fill out the top 10 spots anyway, but doesn’t “The World’s …” sound more dramatic and significant? … ok maybe not. You’ve probably heard of some of them including Burj Dubai, which overtook the CN Tower as the tallest man-made structure.
When I first saw photos of Dubai, I thought they were Photoshoped creations of someone’s imagination or screenshots from a PC game. There was no way buildings like this (below) exist … it’s madness!

The complexity, sheer size and beauty of Dubai’s buildings are simply amazing! Just how many construction projects are rejected on the basis of being a little less than spectacular? Hopefully, I’ll sell enough condos one day so that I could afford to play golf there! Here is the Top 10 List. My two favourite are Hydropolis and Business – take a wild guess what they are? I don’t know why but that last photo with the light beaming from the sky looks eeriely similar to the movie Indepenence Day. Just thought you would be curious to know that.
